Resource Room
At both of our locations (see Contact Us for exact locations), we have resource rooms that are open to the public. These resource rooms are Community Access Program sites which have computers with Internet access free for everyone to use for job searching. The resource room and staff offer a lot of valuable information to assist you in connecting with community resources to help you find employment. The computers have a variety of programs that can assist you in resume creation, upgrading your Microsoft Office skills, increasing your keyboarding speed, even choosing the right career!
Preparing You for Your Job Search
Pathways’ capable and committed staff are experts in assisting you in preparing for your job search. Did you know that traditional methods of scouring the newspaper for jobs will get you access to only about 1 in 10 of the jobs actually out there? The internet will bring you only up to 2 in 10. We can help you learn the ways to find out about, and get connected to, the other 8. Through our action plans and workshops we can move you from outdated to updated job search methods.

Training You for the Job
Pathways’ training programs give you a chance to get your hands dirty. Our expert Facilitators will give you the tools (literally!) and training required by employers in London’s leading manufacturing, construction and property maintenance organizations.
Participants have an opportunity to partake in on-site employment training (co-op placements) which is an integral part of each program. The participating individuals will get valuable work experience with an employer that could potentially lead to a hire after graduation.
Pathways’ Skills Development Training programs utilize a combination of theory, hands-on training and co-op placement to ensure that each program provides a practical and rewarding experience. Over 85% of our graduates find work in their field!

Assisting You in Your Job Search
We know that having the right tools is only part of the work of finding a great job. That is why we are committed not only to giving you the tools but assisting you to put them into place as well. Our Employment Placement Coordinators, along with our Community Placement Coordinator, will become your coaches, encouragers and advocates as you conduct your job search. Through our Placement programs and supports we will walk alongside you in the process.
